Thomas Cook (India) (TCIL) has been honoured with the premier Diamond Award for Exemplary Achievements in Visa Issuance and registering the highest number of visas at the French Ambassador’s Travel Awards in Mumbai. The prestigious awards were presented by François Richier, Ambassador of France to India at an exclusive event in Mumbai.
The awards, a unique initiative by the French Ambassador, served to honour excellence in promotion of France by travel companies in India and showcase a series of positive developments (including facilitation via the 48 visa service and expansion of visa centres) that resulted in a 60 per cent increase in visa issuance by French Consulates in India between January-May, 2015.
