Cathay Pacific Airways completed two years of operations between Hyderabad and Hong Kong. The airline launched its four weekly flights from Hyderabad in 2012 with an Airbus A330-300 aircraft departing every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Over the last two years, load factors have steadily grown to a healthy 80 per cent on an average.
Charlie Stewart-Cox, General Manager, South Asia, Middle East & Africa said, “Our flights from Hyderabad have been able to offer travellers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana greater choice and more convenience when connecting to Cathay Pacific’s international network through its Hong Kong hub. It has helped promote ties between India and Hong Kong and to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a leading aviation hub.”
