A new report is released by Airbnb that says family travel is booming on Airbnb. Globally, family travel was up over 60 percent in 2022 compared to before the pandemic in 2019, with over 15 million check-ins in nearly 90,000 destinations. In India, family travel on Airbnb grew by over 90 percent in 2022 compared to 2019.
In 2022, the top 10 family travel destinations in India were Goa, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Raigarh, Ernakulam, Delhi, Nainital. Globally, Indians have been travelling to London, Toronto and Dubai for a family getaway.
“Families are spending more on domestic as well as international travel and are more willing to support local communities and small businesses.
