Low cost airline IndiGo has announced 6 new daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Chennai. Effective November 17, IndiGo has launched second daily non-stop flight between Delhi-Coimbatore, third daily non-stop between Chennai-Coimbatore & fifth daily non-stop between Chennai-Kolkata.
Elaborating on the launch of the new daily flights, Aditya Ghosh, President and Executive Director, IndiGo said, “2014 has been a great year for IndiGo and we promoted routes and connectivity that added immense value to our passengers’ travel in addition to a great flying experience. With the announcement of these new flights, we feel encouraged by our customer’s support and feedback by our passengers, especially from Coimbatore, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.”
IndiGo became the first airline to in June to introduce ‘Advance Pass’ service. Under the free of charge service, the passenger will be checked in and receive the boarding pass in their mail inbox 48 hours prior to the departure at no extra charges. The passengers can also drop their bags at the bag drop counters which are available at major airports.
