Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Taj branded hotel in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The hotel is a greenfield project.
The 150-key hotel is strategically located in heart of the city. It will feature an all-day dining, a bar, two specialty restaurants, and J Wellness Circle spa. Additionally, the hotel will boast over 10,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space, providing versatile event spaces.
Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “Kanpur’s recent inclusion among India’s smart cities, coupled with significant infrastructural advancements, is providing a fillip to the city’s hospitality landscape.
