Oman Tourism recently conducted a sailing event in Mumbai where the travel trade not only got an opportunity to sail, but also got a better understanding of the destination ‘Oman’. A representative from Oman Sail was also present at the event to conduct a presentation about the sailing opportunities in Oman.
Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative, Sultanate of Oman says, “Oman’s stunning coastline is undoubtedly best explored by sea. Sailing is a major activity in Oman and we want to highlight this feature and promote it as a new and thrilling way to discover the beauty of Oman. The objective behind the event was to provide the trade partners an experience of sailing and also to network with them on an innovative and fun platform. The event was a roaring success for us as it was very well attended by top tour operators and travel agents and they enjoyed their day out in the sea.”
