DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bangalore, the new upscale hotel conveniently located on Sarjapur – Outer Ring Road, has received the GCC Puraskar Award for the Best Upcoming Hotel in Bengaluru city. Every year the department of Hotel Management of Garden City College, Bangalore presents this award to recognise the spirit of hoteliers.
In the second edition of these awards, hotels were categorised and nominated by the students of hotel management. Voting to arrive at the best hotel in each category was conducted online whereby students from all hotel management colleges in Bengaluru had an opportunity to select their favourites. The awards were conferred by Dr. Joseph V.G., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Maldives, in Bengaluru.
