A delegation of 2200 Amway India distributors visited France in the second week of December as part of an incentive movement organised by the multinational company. The CEO of Amway India and the Regional President also formed part of the group. Members of the delegation visited Paris from 14-17 December and a group of 150 visited Nice in the Riviera before the Parisian sojourn.
The largest Indian incentive movement to France, this project garnered revenue of approximately 6 million Euros in land arrangements. A group of top performing Amway distributors enjoyed a stay in Nice in the Riviera before visiting Paris. This group of 150 visitors was accommodated at the Hyatt and had the opportunity to enjoy the city and its environs. A gala dinner was organised at Prince Rainier’s private car museum in Monaco which was a first for an Indian incentive.
While in Paris, the delegation experienced the best of French hospitality with stays at the Meridien Etoile and the Pullman Montparnasse. The Parisian sightseeing agenda included a visit of the Eiffel Tower, a cruise on the Seine on the Bateaux Mouches and the Bateaux Parisiens, a visit of Disneyland Paris and the iconic Chateau de Versailles which was privatised for the group.
This successful incentive movement which took 2 and a half years of meticulous planning mobilised 120 team members handling ground logistics. This number includes the team from the destination management company – Europe Incoming and also a freelance team of guides, tour leaders and drivers. Atout France – France Tourism Development Agency played a pivotal role as a facilitator in the organisation of this movement. This included liaising and garnering the unwavering support of the Embassy and Consular services in India and tourism suppliers in France. Atout France also advised and added experiential value to the planning and showcasing of France’s diversity as an incentive destination.
