In an attempt to cater to the growing trend of impulse, last minute travel bookings, Paytm has partnered with RoomsTonite, one of India’s largest last minute hotels booking app. Over 100 million Paytm customers can book over 4000 hotels available with RoomsTonite using the Paytm app on Android. Paytm has established a direct connectivity with RoomsTonite by enabling the inventory of all the 4000 hotels, the rates and the content to sync in real-time.
Abhishek Rajan, Vice President, Paytm said, “Paytm’s association with RoomsTonite is yet another step towards improving the offering for our customer base. More than 30 per cent online bookings take place at the last minute. Paytm users will now be able to seamlessly book hotels at the last moment. For hotel owners, the partnership will help drive higher occupancy and revenue.”

RoomsTonite launched in January 2015 has over 4,000 hotels across 325 destinations in India. Paytm had announced its foray into hotel aggregation in October 2015 in order to capture the immense opportunity in this sector with its captive base of over 100 million wallet users.
