Working almost in sync with Goa Tourism to give tourists a platform to address their woes on transportation issues, the Directorate of Transport, Govt. of Goa has launched a Complaint Registration mobile app. The App, provides a convenient facility to tourists to register their complaints against vehicle owners or operators for violation of the Motor Vehicle rules.
The new Compliant Registration mobile app aims at expediting complaint redressal processes and enables tourists to not only log in their complaints, but also get updates on action taken by the Dept. of Transport.
This easy and expeditious compliant registration mobile app overrides the existing process which required a complainant to either visit the transport department and enter the complaint on a book, or post a complaint, SMS or e-mail etc.
The new CRMA process aims at providing a user-friendly system which promptly establishes communication between the user demanding the service and the actual service provider available on board.
Any grievance, be it against drivers, conductors of bus services, yellow black taxis, atuorickshaws, motorcycles, tourist taxis etc. can be registered through the App.
The Dept. of Transport will investigate the complaints and update the tourists of the necessary action taken either via SMS or e-mail.
According to the Dept. of Transport, tourists can register text complaints as well as submit photos, videos or documents related to the offences.
An added advantage is that the tourist can submit a complaint during travel or on the spot of the offence.
The App has an easy uncluttered and uncomplicated user inter-face which is comfortable to view and use on devices of various sizes. In view of this, the existing SMS based complaint system has been de-activated after the launch.
The CRMA is available on Google Play Store as well as Apple Store to reach a wider audience.
