Best Western Hotels & Resorts and Index Holdings recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Franchise agreement to establish at least 700 rooms of three star, four star and five-star category hotels within next three years. Out of this 210 rooms have already been signed for Dhaka, Rajshahi and Sylhet areas.
Atul Jain, COO of Sorrel Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd and Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, Deputy Managing Director of Index Holdings, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu and Ronald Pohl, COO, Best Western Hotels & Resorts USA, Atul Jain, COO, Sorrel Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd, Index Companies Chairman Architect Md. Mazherul Quader, Managing Director Mahin Maher, Dy Managing Director Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA and high officials from both the companies.
