Sinclairs Hotels has registered a net profit of Rs.3.27 crores for the first of the current fiscal. Total income increased by 39 per cent to Rs.173.954 crores. The company’s EBIDTA from operations for the half year period increased by 68 per cent to Rs.72.41 crores.
Sinclairs continues to make good progress. Its 6th property which was commissioned at Kalimpong is showing healthy increase in occupancy. The Company has recently commissioned the 7th property in its chain, Sinclairs Tourist Resort, Burdwan, which is the only property of its kind in Burdwan, an important destination in West Bengal.
The company has strong fundamentals and its Reserves (excluding revaluation reserves) as at 31st March, 2015 stood at Rs.618.79 crores on an equity share capital of Rs.5.57 crores last year. The company continues to be debt free.
