Continuing the high focus and emphasis on India as the destination’s leading overseas source market for hotel guests; Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) is attracting outbound travellers from the emerging gateways of Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi. The destination is now closer than ever for Indian travellers with the Etihad-Jet Airways combine operating daily direct flights.
TCA Abu Dhabi recently concluded a series of successful travel trade workshops at Pune, Hyderabad and Kochi, with a presence of stakeholders representing the best Abu Dhabi DMCs, Hotels and Attractions.
Abu Dhabi welcomed 151,423 Indian hotel guests in Jan-July 2015 at a growth rate of 21% over the same period last year. There were 555,633 guest nights, at a growth rate of 17% over the same period last year.
