The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has expanded its presence with the addition of its 11th chapter. The Association yesterday launched its Tamil Nadu Chapter with V.K.T Balan, Chairman, Madurai Travels as the Chapter Chairman. While P Ashok Kumar of Manas Sarovar Tours & Travels is the General Secretary, Vishnu Vasanth Kumar of Emperor Traveline and Saraswathi Raji of Arunlekha Travel have been appointed as Treasurer and Lady Entrepreneur Officer respectively.
This was announced yesterday in Chennai by P P Khanna, President, ADTOI during a function attended by who’s who of the Tamil Nadu’s tourism industry. The Chief Guests from the event were K Pandia Rajan, Minister of Tamil Development, Culture and Archaeology, Govt of Tamil Nadu; V Krishnamoorthy, Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka; Sarvanan Karathihayan, Consulate General of Malaysia; V Irai Anbu, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of Tamil Nadu and Shreevats Sanjay, Regional Director (South), India Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.
Talking to T3, Khanna informed that ADTOI currently has 22 members in Tamil Nadu. “The Tamil Nadu Chapter will initiate the membership drive in Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar and Puducherry. We expect to add additional 50 members in the next 1 year,” Khanna added.
