Bullish over the response from the India market, Air Canada has decided to change it 4-times weekly Delhi-Vancouver- Delhi direct and non stop flight to daily from 8th June 2018. “Customer response to our nonstop Delhi – Vancouver – Delhi seasonal flight has been extremely positive, and we are very pleased to extend the this flight to year round beginning June 2018,” Ben Smith, President, Passenger Airlines, Air Canada said. “Our flights on this route are serviced by our state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner and offer not only the only direct and non-stop service on this route but also a streamlined and seamless connections process at Vancouver to key destinations in North America.”
“These flights together with our direct and non-stop Delhi to Toronto and Mumbai flights represent three year-round routes to India launched within the last two and a half years. Air Canada is committing close to $1.5 billion worth of aircraft between Canada and India, underscoring our commitment to this vibrant market and to our continuing strategic, global expansion,” he added.
“Our state-of-the-art aircraft, multi-lingual crews, onboard offerings, in-flight entertainment which includes Bollywood hits and acclaimed multi-lingual art-house films, together with our extensive Western Canada domestic and Western US transborder network and the seamless connection experience through Vancouver all position Air Canada and Vancouver to be the preferred gateway hub for travel to and from India,” concluded Smith.
