Air China recently launched its direct International flight from Mumbai to Beijing. The new flight is the first and only airline to fly non-stop between Mumbai and Beijing. The strategic move of Air China is a step to strengthen its existing route network in India through its offering of a specifically tailored product for passengers and coming up with an alternative for medium-long haul travel with extra comfort.
Air China introduced Airbus A330-300 to its service to Mumbai. With a total capacity of 305 seats, the flight has 30-Businiess Class Fully Flat Beds, 16-Premium Economy & 259-Economy seats.
Commenting on the occasion, Xia, GM, Air China, Mumbai said “Initiative proposed by the Chinese government, has started and will start more routes serving the countries along the – One Belt, One Road”.
The non-stop flight secures increased connectivity and reduced transit time for customers. The new flight will operate four times in a week.
Air China is offering promotional fares to travel agents and customers on the first 3 flights. The offer rolled to travel agent is Rs 15,000 including all taxes to Mumbai – Beijing – Mumbai, with this offer we have approximate 200 travel agents travelling to China.
According to reports, there is a significant increase in the percentage of people travelling to China from Mumbai in the last couple of years. With the launch of this new route Air China is very confident about new business relations in India and strengthening of economical as well as political relations of both the nations. Air China will also offer good and seamless connectivity to all destinations in Mainland China, USA, Canada, Korea, Japan and other cities on its route network worldwide.
