Amadeus, the largest technology provider for the travel industry is expanding its operations with the opening of its new Engineering and R&D center in Pune. The launch in Pune will be Amadeus’ second R&D and engineering site after Amadeus Labs in Bengaluru, which is the second largest engineering site for Amadeus worldwide. The new center in Pune is expected to play a pivotal role in deepening Amadeus’ presence in the Indian market and anchoring activities for Amadeus Labs in India and worldwide.
Besides transforming travel experiences for global travelers, the Pune site will also focus on strengthening Amadeus’ hospitality solutions. Through the new site, Amadeus aims to expand its engineering capabilities and leverage the diverse and skilled local talent pool, enabling a positive future for the growth of Amadeus Labs in India. Amadeus will begin its operations with the hospitality division in Pune by early 2023.
