The Ashok Hotel, under the aegis of the India Tourism Development Corporation, organized a heart-warming Holi celebration for underprivileged children.
The children from the Virikshit Foundation had a wonderful time participating in a painting competition that was organised by the hotel. Adding to their excitement, the Chefs made traditional Holi delicacies along with the children incorporating millets which added further nutrition and flavour. The platter presented a variety of mouth-watering delicacies such as Gujiya, Papri Chaat, Thandai, Gol Gappa, Chila, Pav Bhaji, and more. To ensure healthier choices, the chefs incorporated nutritious ingredients like spinach and beetroot to create a colourful range of dips.
Piyush Tiwari, Managing Director and Director (Commercial & Marketing) ITDC, expressing his joy said, “Such initiatives help bridge the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged sections of society and showcase the hotel’s commitment to social responsibility.
