The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) and India Tourism offices in USA and Canada, will host a five city road show for USA and Canada tour operators and travel professionals interested in learning more about India’s wide range of travel options for active travelers. The Road Show will be graced by the presence of Dr. K. Chiranjeevi, Minister of State for Tourism, Government of India; Chandan Brahma, Minister of Tourism, Government of Assam; and Girish Shankar, Addnl. Secretary (T), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
The roadshow, to be held from 2 – 10 October 2013, in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and Toronto, will involve detailed presentations by ATOAI and Ministry of Tourism (GOI) and will form an ideal platform for the International Launch of the “777 Days of the Indian Himalayas” campaign. Some Himalayan State Governments are expected to join as well. The Road Show will offer the opportunity for adventure travel professionals to meet and network with several of India’s leading adventure travel organisations, while exploring India’s unique mosaic of natural beauty, outdoor activities, rich culture and history.
Mercury Himalayan Explorations; Far Horizon India; Kash Venture Travels; Luxury India Holidays; Shikhar Travels India; Banjara Camps & Retreats; Kalypso Adventures; and Royal Expeditions are the Indian-based travel companies exhibiting at the roadshow.
