The India release of Reliance Big Entertainment and Dreamworks Pictures’ next film “The Hundred Foot Journey” will get the added support of Atout France – France Tourism Development Agency. In a strategic move, Reliance Big Entertainment, along with Atout France, will promote the film in India, adding another dimension to the movie viewing experience. Through this association, movie goers at PVR cinemas can avail a huge opportunity to visit France by participating in a simple contest. The contest is further supported by the generous participation of Air France, the Midi Pyrenees Regional Tourist Board and Hyatt Regency Paris CDG.
Catherine Oden, Director, Atout France said, “We are very pleased to have partnered with Reliance Entertainment for the promotion of The Hundred Foot Journey. On a personal level, it gives me great pleasure to promote a region which is very close to my heart, and the setting for many of my childhood memories. The Hundred Foot Journey boasts of a fine star cast who seem handpicked for their individual roles and add their own magic to the flavour of the movie. This is probably the first time that the Midi Pyrenees region has been depicted so beautifully on Indian movie screens. The Hundred Foot Journey brilliantly showcases the many treasures of the region such as the picture perfect locales of St. Antonin Noble Val where the movie has been shot. The film is a treat for all the sensory experiences and we invite our Indian audiences to enjoy this experience.”
Speaking of the film, Sanjeev Lamba, CEO, Reliance Big Entertainment said, “The Hundred Foot Journey is a much celebrated release, as it not only boasts of reputed names and a close partnership with Dreamworks, but also reflects a genuine cross country association. The Hundred Foot Journey is extensively shot in France in the beautiful locales of Midi Pyrenees and gives the Indian audiences a chance to explore the beauty and heritage of France like never before. We are extremely happy to have Atout France and a host of other partner establishments on board supporting the film.”
