‘ATTA Amazing Thailand Roadshow’ Strengthens Travel Trade Bonds, Showcases New Tourism Offerings

Tourism Authority of Thailand joins hands with Association of Thai Travel Agents, hosts the ‘ATTA Amazing Thailand Roadshow’. Delivers a platform for 160 Indian travel agents to exchange insights with 22 Thai travel agents from ATTA.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mumbai, in collaboration with the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) organised the “ATTA Amazing Thailand Roadshow” on 3rd October 2023 at St. Regis, Mumbai with an aim to bolster its travel trade relationship with India and promote its new and diverse tourist attractions.

The Roadshow commenced in the presence of Isada Saovaros, the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mumbai; Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai; and Sisdivachr Cheewarattanaporn, the President of Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA). Opening doors for lucrative collaboration, the event converged over 160 Indian travel agents to exchange crucial insights with 22 Thai travel agents from ATTA, consisting of attraction owners, destination management companies and an airline.

To draw more tourists from India, TAT Mumbai aims to promote novel attractions, hidden charms and offbeat destinations scattered across Thailand, as well as promote its 5F soft-power foundations – Food, Film, Festival, Fight, and Fashion.

Elaborating on the purpose of the roadshow, Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mumbai, shared: “The ATTA Amazing Thailand Roadshow showcased Thailand’s ever-growing grandeur in the tourism landscape and set up a platform for informed discussions and strengthening trade relationships. The invaluable support of the Association of Thailand Travel Agents (ATTA) and the remarkable cooperation of our Indian travel trade partners through the Roadshow will greatly contribute towards our strategic goal of expanding Thailand’s tourism appeal in India.”
