Brand USA conducted yet another series of educational seminars ‘DiscoverAmerica’ targeting the three cities of Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad. These seminars witnessed an impressive participation of 320 travel agents. The objective is to provide in-depth information on tourism products and attractions from the United States.
Brand USA also encouraged agents to become USA specialists by enrolling into the recently launched online training programmr, “USA Discovery Program” hosted at www.usadiscoveryprogram.in. As of now, over 1,000 Indian travel agents have completed and over 1,300 have registered for the online training programme.
Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism; Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau; Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board; Visit California; Visit Florida; NYC & Company and Travel Oregon were the Brand USA partners who participated in the educational seminars. In addition, officials from the U.S. consulate were present in the three cities to update the agents on U.S. visa procedures.
