Singapore Changi Airport has been voted the World’s Best Airport for the second year in a row at the prestigious 2014 SKYTRAX World Airport Awards, held overnight in Barcelona. These awards are known globally as the most prestigious accolades for the world airport industry, based on the largest, independent worldwide airport customer satisfaction survey completed by more than 12 million travellers. This is the fifth time Changi Airport has been awarded the coveted title, adding to its stable of more than 450 awards, making it the most awarded airport in the world.

In addition, Changi Airport is also conferred the Best Airport for Leisure Amenities. Changi Airport registered a strong performance in 2013 to set new benchmarks for passenger traffic and aircraft movements, handling a record 53.7 million passengers. India is one of Changi Airport’s top 10 country markets with 3.2 million passenger movements between Singapore and India for 2013, a year-on-year increase of about 4 per cent.
