Vietjet launches its inaugural flight from Adelaide to Ho Chi Minh City, marking the first-ever Vietnamese carrier to operate flights between Vietnam and South Australia. This historic milestone signifies the commencement of five weekly return flights between the two cities. The new service was inaugurated following November 21’s ceremony, which welcomed Vietjet’s first non-stop flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Perth, featuring a similar frequency.
This significant expansion into Adelaide and Perth is expected to see Vietjet’s weekly flights to Australia surge to 58 a week, which is claimed to be a remarkable feat achieved in less than a year since its entry into the Australian market in April 2023.
The airline is running its exclusive Black Friday offer where travellers can secure all-in one-way tickets from India to Vietnam with great discounts. This promotion runs from November 22 to November 28, with the travel period for these discounted tickets extending from January 1 to October 31, 2024. In addition to the attractive ticket prices, travelers booking international flights will also receive an e-voucher worth VND 200,000 (approx. INR 686) by visiting the website. Furthermore, Vietjet is extending a generous 30% discount on duty-free shopping for passengers.
