The event will present unique owner-run accommodations in three major Indian cities this month, showcasing conscious and experiential travel options
RARE India, a community of boutique, owner-run hotels and travel experiences in the Indian subcontinent, continues to focus on promoting community inclusive and planet sensitive travel. The organization will host Discover by RARE 2024 in three major cities of India this month to showcase some of these conscious and experiential owner-run hotels, retreats, lodges and camps to the travel trade. The event will be held in Ahmedabad on July 23, Mumbai on July 25 and Hyderabad on July 30.
Around 20 RARE Community Hotels and Experiences as well as Friends of RARE will participate at the Discover by RARE 2024 Ahmedabad Edition, which will be held at The House of MG. Discover by RARE 2024 Mumbai Edition will be held at the Quorum Club in Parel and around 25 hotels and experiences will be showcased at this event. The Hyderabad Edition of Discover by RARE 2024 will be held at the Taj Deccan at Banjara Hills and close to 20 hotels and experiences will be presented there. Travel designers and tour operators from all the major inbound and domestic travel companies from the three cities are expected to attend the events.
According to RARE India’s Founder Shoba Rudra, “There is great potential in our indigenous markets with Indian travellers discovering the beauty and diverse cultural treasure of their homeland. At RARE, since inception we have always invested in the domestic market. We want our community to be spoken of in the same breath as the Taj Hotels etc. but for different reasons. In fact, as a community we are possibly spread far and wide in three countries and 19 states in India alone. Discover by RARE promotes the idea of conscious luxury travel to entice the Indian traveller to travel responsibly”.
