ATC Global 2015 recently announced the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman, Dubai Airports; President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, Chairman of Dubai Air Navigation Services.
Over the past 25 years, Al Maktoum has been at the forefront of Dubai’s economic development, spearheading the successful expansion of the aviation sector, which now supports 27 per cent of Dubai’s GDP, and more recently, formulating economic, investment and fiscal policies and strategies in support of the Emirate’s overarching vision.
Speaking of his support of ATC Global 2015 taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE from 5-7 October, Al Maktoum stated, “Aviation has been an instrumental engine in driving unprecedented growth in the economy of Dubai. It has benefited from a clear vision and investment in innovative minds, technology, and research and development.
