SATTE, South Asia’s leading B2B travel trade show, is getting tremendous response from the industry as many exhibitors have increased their participation at the Silver Jubilee edition of the show. For the 25th edition, which is to be held from January 31- Feb 02, 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, SATTE has witnessed exponential growth in terms of participation. This year a number of exhibitors have increased their stand space to showcase their diverse offerings. Exhibitors such as China, Nepal, Peru, Czech Republic, Visit Russia, Gujarat Tourism, Rajasthan Tourism, Red Apple, Treebo Hotels, Europcar, Nafex, Guiddoo, Globe 360 DMC amongst others have increased their participation significantly. Moreover, Philippines and Bangladesh are coming back to SATTE 2018. Notably, Jamaica is the new entrant at SATTE’s 25th edition.
Apart from these, many state tourism boards, NTOs, and private players are also increasing their stand size. SATTE is also getting bookings from new players from across the industry. SATTE 2018 will also have an array of State Tourism Boards with many of them increasing their presence for the 25th edition of SATTE. So far, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan have confirmed their participation. States such as Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Punjab, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar and Delhi amongst others are in the process of finalising their participation for the coming edition. The eight North Eastern states will participate under the Incredible India Pavilion of the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
Foreign Tourism Boards such as Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Fiji, New Zealand, and Abu Dhabi etc. have confirmed their participation too. Brand USA, Thailand, Turkey, Malaysia, Italy, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Sharjah and Vietnam are all set to confirm their participation soon.
SATTE 2018 is also witnessing an increase in participation from hospitality players. Groups such as Sterling Resorts, Minor Hotels, Melia Hotels International, Shangri -La Hotels and Resorts, Venetian Cotai and many more are participating at SATTE 2018. Few more hotel chains are expected to join the mega event.
The coming edition expects to surpass its last visitor numbers of 25,000+ across three days. This year the exhibition will be spread over 20,000 sqm gross, thus making it India’s biggest travel and tourism event, and expects to feature close to 1000 exhibitors and the representation of over 50 countries.
