Gujarat Tourism, Lallooji & Sons introduce “Nadabet Indo-Pak Border” initiative

This initiative offers visitors a distinctive experience by witnessing the spectacular beating retreat ceremony conducted daily at dusk on the Indian side

Lallooji & Sons, in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, have introduced an innovative tourism venture – ‘Nadabet- Indo-Pak Border’ located at the India-Pakistan Border. Located a mere 239 kms from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ‘Nadabet- Indo-Pak Border promises an unforgettable experience blending history, adventure, and patriotism.

At ‘Nadabet- Indo-Pak Border, guests can witness the grand ceremony at the Parade Arena, accommodating up to 5000 people. Like the beating retreat ceremony in Amritsar, Punjab, the highlight of the drill is the intricate and rapid dance-like manoeuvres involving raising legs to impressive heights. Additionally, lowering the flag ceremony at the T-Junction is a daily military ritual enthusiastically performed by the Border Security Force (BSF).

Visitors will get a chance to explore the Ajeya Prahari Smarak to pay tribute to the valour and sacrifices of our Indian soldiers from the BSF, India’s first line of defence. The Smarak also features an art gallery honouring the brave hearts who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

The Sarhad Gatha Museum located at the T-Junction, depicts the evolution of the BSF and showcases weapons used in historic wars. The museum also offers a captivating VR gaming section, a major attraction among youth and children.

Dipak Chakraborthy- Operation Head said, “Nadabet- Indo-Pak Border is an ideal destination for a day trip where visitors can venture into uncharted territories near the International Indo-Pak border, guided by the vigilant BSF. Witness the tales of sacrifice and heroism up close through ‘Seema Darshan’ at Nadabet.”

The activity zone offers thrilling experiences like Box Cricket, ATV rides, Sky Cycle, rock climbing, ziplining, and many more. Visitos can also explore the Nadeshwari Mata Temple near Seema Darshan. It is the oldest temple around Nadabet and attracts many devotees. A major highlight is the annual grand fair organized during the Ram Navami & Sharad Purnima festival.

Convenient amenities such as ample parking space and an EV station promoting sustainability are also available.

Nadabet- Indo-Pak Border welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 9am to 7pm, with border visits permitted from 9am to 4:30pm. The site is closed for maintenance on Mondays.
