IndiGo has been voted as the Best Low Cost Airline in Central Asia and India, fifth time in a row at the Farnborough Air Show 2014. This is the fifth year in a row that IndiGo has been recognised at the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards. Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo, received the award from Edward Plaisted, CEO, SKYTRAX.
Commenting on the award, Ghosh said, “Having been awarded as the ‘Best Low Cost Airline in Central Asia & India’ fifth time in a row indeed is exhilarating yet humbling experience. We are less than eight years old and to be consistently recognised amongst some of the world’s best airlines is a huge honour for us”.
IndiGo was also nominated in other categories such as “Best Airline in Central Asia / India” and “Best Low Cost Airline in Asia”.
