Lavasa is set to host its third edition of Worldfest in December, with support this year from the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC). Over the last two years Worldfest 2014 welcomed over 75,000 audiences from around the globe. The event is being hosted by Ferriswheel while Lavasa is providing it its niche venue.
The five-day event will showcase over 400 hours of live performances coming together from all over the world, and will provide a platform to celebrate Indian festivities with an International twist.
The event has already registered 20,000 people per day, with over 10 countries and over 200 performers lined up. Participating countries include Poland, Lithuania, Egypt, Slovenia, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Thailand, and many more.
