Today, NIMA’s National Executive Committee comprises of active MICE operators and SMEs from metropolitans cities Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata to tier II & III cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar and smaller cities like Yamuna Nagar and Tirupati, among others.
Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA), founded on this day in 2014 with the promise to bring smaller tier MICE agents to prominence has completed ten years of operation. In a press note issued to commemorate its 10th anniversary, the association says that it has become “a true representative of serious MICE operators of India.”
The association was formed by Gajesh Girdhar, who continues to lead the association, along with Rakesh Arora, Gurmeet Singh Chhatwal, among others. Today, NIMA’s National Executive Committee comprises of active MICE operators and SMEs from metropolitans cities Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata to tier II & III cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar and smaller cities like Yamuna Nagar and Tirupati, among others.

- Membership is free of cost for MICE operators.
- Aspires to empower MICE agents with knowledge and resources.
- Providing smaller MICE operators opportunity to learn, earn and grow.
- Strategic partnerships and MoUs with educational institutions to help create training and employment opportunity and entrepreneurial skill.
- Launched ‘NIMA Connect’, platform for young entrepreneurs and students to engage directly with national and international Tourism Boards and key stakeholdrs such as VFS and allied professionals (Tax & Finance), to broaden their perspective.
- Conducting events for members to address the contemporary industry issues like GST, TCS and others.
- Offering members platform to engage and connect with principals.
- Collaboration with the tourism boards of Catalonia, Jordan, Cyprus, Taiwan. Kissimmee, Nepal, Singapore, Moscow, Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau and Selangor Tourism, Malaysia, Resorts World Cruises among others.
- Partnership with Resort World Cruises, where NIMA had it’s first of its kind floating conference for an Indian MICE Association.
