Odyssey World Tours and Flamingo Transworld comes together to form a new venture to leverage on each other’s strengthen to grow their businesses post pandemic. The Joint Venture is formed with an aim to expand footprints in Gujarat and Kerala respectively by sharing cutting-edge expertise mutually. Odyssey World Tours and Flamingo Transworld both operate in the key domains of inbound and outbound travel, catering handcrafted holidays and strategies.
According to Ramesh Nair, Managing Director, Odyssey World Tours, “Both ventures individually have their distinct brand image in the market. With close to 20-25 years of experience in respective fields and markets, both are going to get benefit largely from the association. It is, therefore, a win-win situation moving forward for both the entities and the Joint Venture.”
When asked about the future expectations and goals due to the JV, Nair replied, “Odyssey has been doing a great job targeting the South-Indian market and the same goes with Flamingo. With this association, we are looking forward to new assignments and expanding our presence in other parts of India as well. This joint venture will enable us to unlock 50% of growth from the existing market, on the basis of the current potential of the market”.
Nair mentioned that this association would allow them to improve their services and cater to their existing and new client base more efficiently. “As of now, we are focused to unlock the utmost potential for the Kerala market, and then later proceeding towards other parts of Southern India. We look forward to catering the best-in-class services for our clients who book with us”, he added.
He mentioned that the association is now focused on the Kerala market solely. Later, the JV would look towards expanding in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka as well as Andhra Pradesh.
