In a major initiative, PROMPERU, the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism, the official tourism promotion board of Peru, is organising it’s inaugural roadshow in India. The roadshow has attracted 14 leading Peruvian companies to India. The event in Delhi was also attended by Javier Paulinich Velarde, Ambassador of Peru to India.
The two-city promotion, New Delhi and Mumbai, is aimed at showcasing the diversity of Peruvian tourism to the Indian trade, foster business collaboration and tourism contracting. The event is scheduled on October 13 and 16 in New Delhi and Mumbai respectively. The road show aims to interact with a minimum of 50+ potential Indian Travel companies in each city.
Luis Cabello, Commercial Counsellor of PROMPERÚ in India, expressed excitement about this endeavor, stating, “We are delighted to bring the essence of Peru to India through this unique roadshow. The framework of the roadshow is a pre-fixed meeting format where each travel agent will be given 15 minutes for one-on-one constructive contact for a transformative journey. This roadshow is more than just an event; it is a monument to the enduring relationship between India and Peru.
