The Department of Tourism, Philippines has recorded a growth of almost 40 per cent in Indian visitor arrivals in February 2015 over the same month last year. The Indian market has continued to be one of the important contributors of international visitors to the Philippines with over 61,000 Indians having visited the Philippines in 2014; the number is expected to rise to around 75,000 in 2015.
Philippines is all set to become the ultimate destination for Indian travellers in 2015 with the ongoing campaign of Department of Tourism, Philippines ‘Visit the Philippines Year 2015’.
The Department has been organising road shows and marketing activities in metros, Tier II and Tier III cities to attract more Indian travellers to Philippines.
