The Beautiful Island of Phuket in Thailand was recently conferred with the “BEST WEDDING DESTINATION” (International) award at the prestigious Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards 2022, held in New Delhi on 16th November 2022. The popular Readers Choice Awards voted Phuket as the Best destination for Indian Wedding Celebrations through an online voting platform.
On receiving the award Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia & South Pacific) Tourism Authority of Thailand said “We are delighted to accept this reputed award by Travel + Leisure. Thailand is one of the most popular destinations for Indian weddings and special occasion celebrations. Phuket in particular has hosted many Indian weddings and is a favourite choice for couples to celebrate their special moments with friends and family”.
