RAIL EUROPE INTRODUCES GERMAN RAIL PASS EXTENSION

Rail Europe offers the German Rail Pass Extension to extend rail services from Germany to Italy, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Austria for an extra EUR 39. It is offered at EUR 69 for first class and EUR 39 for second class per adult. The German Rail Pass Extension allows travel aboard InterCity Express (ICE) high speed trains and DB-ÖBB Eurocity Trains to Prague. The EUR 39 supplement also permits travel aboard DB Expressbus to Kufstein and Innsbruck in Austria, and DB-ÖBB Eurocity trains to Bolzzano, Verona, Bologna and Venice in Italy. The German Rail Pass allows unlimited rail travel on the national rail network of Germany for durations between three and 10 days. It is available at a starting price of EUR 183, from all Rail Europe accredited travel agents and websites.
