ROTANA EYES JAIPUR AS AN OUTBOUND SOURCE MARKET

Rotana has announced its focus on Jaipur as a preferred source market for Indian outbound travellers to the Middle East. This announcement further reinforces Rotana’s commitment towards the Indian market, as it also continues to successfully enhance outbound numbers from the country to Rotana properties.

Aman Aditya Sachdev, Senior Vice President- South Asia and South-East Asia for Rotana, said, “We believe that Jaipur is an ideal outbound source market for Rotana, owing to its great air connectivity and increasing demand from outbound travellers for international travel. Our brand enjoys a tremendous patronage from Indians travelling overseas and staying at Rotana hotels, both in terms of corporate and leisure travellers. Since India is also one of the largest trading partners for the majority of the countries where Rotana currently operates, this has resulted in a strong and sustainable relationship with our customers over the last two decades. Recognised for its award winning brand standards and service, Rotana shall continue enjoy an excellent response from the Indian outbound market.”

Over the years Jaipur has witnessed a consistent increase in the number of Indian outbound travellers to the Middle East both in the leisure and MICE segments, supported by a great passenger airlift capacity from international flights and road connectivity as well. Etihad Airways, the national carrier of Abu Dhabi, has also recently launched its daily flight service from Jaipur to Abu Dhabi to fuel the rising demand of discerning travellers from the city to the Middle East.

Rotana’s commitment to the market and enhance outbound numbers from India. “Currently approximately 9 per cent of the overall business to Rotana hotels comes from the Indian market. We also aim to grow this number to 14-15 per cent in the coming years. We are working towards building on our current consumer base and creating additional long-term consumer and B2B relationships,” added Sachdev.
