Sarovar Hotels has announced the re-branding of Shraddha Inn as Shraddha Sarovar Portico, Shirdi. Sarovar took over the operations of this 75-room hotel in January. This property is as the Group’s 10th property in Maharashtra, other hotels being Hotel Marine Plaza, Grand Sarovar Premiere, Grand Hometel, Majestic Court Sarovar Portico and Residency Sarovar Portico – in Mumbai; Sahil Sarovar Portico Lonavala, Lily Sarovar Portico Nashik; Noorya Hometel Pune and the recently opened Balaji Sarovar Premiere in Solapur.
Originally Shraddha Park Inn, this hotel was also managed by Sarovar Hotels from 1999 to 2010. Commenting on the development, Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Hotels said, “We are delighted to make a comeback to the city of Shri Sai Baba. Shirdi attracts a large inflow of devotees round the year, but lacks premium branded accommodation. With Shraddha Sarovar Portico we will bridge this gap.”
Sarovar Hotels are present in various religious destinations which include Badrinath, Haridwar, Puducherry, Nasik and now Shirdi. The Group will soon have hotels in Amritsar and Tirupati.
