Sarovar Hotels recently unveiled India’s first ‘Hindi’ hotel website at a press conference held at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. The website was launched by Lalit K Panwar, Secretary Tourism, Government of India. The website content of www.sarovarhotels.com/hi has been crafted in ‘everyday’ Hindi to connect better with the target audience.
After unveiling country’s first ‘Hindi’ hotel website, Panwar said, “I congratulate Sarovar Hotels for launching their website in Hindi. More than 180 million people in India regard ‘Hindi’ as their mother tongue and another 300 million use Hindi as a second language. So this is a fantastic initiative. I am also happy that the Hindi language is gaining prominence with the corporate sector. This initiative, appreciating our cultural values, will surely instil a lot of pride in all tourism stakeholders.”
Sarovar Hotels commissioned this website in view of the company’s growing presence across the country. Ajay K Bakaya, Executive Director, Sarovar Hotels said, “I am proud that Sarovar Hotels is at the helm of such an initiative that connects us to our motherland even more. The Hindi website’s launch is in line with our vision to be a truly Indian company, not only covering the country wide and far but by also connecting with our target audience in the Hindi heartland where business growth for our sector is today most promising.”
This website is also a platform where guests can book unmatched deals and offers across more than 70 Sarovar Hotels across 48 destinations in India, including two hotels in East Africa. The website is now Live and can be accessed on desktop as well as mobiles and tablets.
