SATTE2014 looks forward to welcoming over 7,500 attendees, making it the largest gathering of core B2B travel professionals. This year the expo offers an incentivised Pre-Scheduled Appointments (PSAs) system that allows buyers to schedule appointments ensuring opportunities for international and regional senior level buyers and decision makers to source new destinations, travel products and services on the show floor.
First time participant Maria Theresa Nava, Programme Director- MICE, Agora, USA, looks forward to meeting MICE suppliers and believes that the expo offers an exceptional opportunity to network and study the Indian market. Agreeing with her, Beant Deacock, Far Horizons Tours, Australia said, “Through SATTE we hope to get a better understanding of the South East Asia market and we expect to meet potential partners offering unusual and unique tour content and destinations, highest quality accommodation and professional handling services.”
Thomas Dedak, TomOnTour, Munich believes that SATTE is a gateway to interact and work closely with the Indian travel trade. “We want to leverage our business connection with India through SATTE and I am hoping to experience a great show,” he said.
Domestic buyers also look forward to a power packed show. Vijay Mohan Raj, MD, Uniglobe Sameera Travel, Secunderabad aspires to build his business through SATTE by meeting quality suppliers and also considers the expo as a great platform to underpin relationships with current partners.
For Mohd Hanif Khan, MD, Subedar & Sons, Chennai, SATTE has been very helpful in fuelling his business. “In my past visits, I met several industry professionals, which has helped me increase my contact base in India as well as abroad,” he stated.
