Starwood Hotels launches its latest meetings offer ‘Work Now, Stay Later’ with over 200 participating Starwood hotels in Asia-Pacific. As part of this promotion, Starwood is for the first time offering members of the Starwood Preferred Planner (SPP) programme one free night’s stay to be credited to their accounts, for every 50 room nights that they book. This is in addition to the Starpoints they will earn through revenue generated by the Group booking.
The more room nights booked, the more free nights SPP members will earn – with no limits on the number of free nights that can be earned1. Normally room nights can only be redeemed through the SPP programme when members have accumulated enough Starpoints.
Free night award is valid till 30 June 2014 and can be redeemed for Starwood category 1 to 6 properties worldwide with no blackout dates. One free night award is issued for every 50 room nights booked in one booking and not cumulative across multiple bookings. There is no limit to the number of free night awards a customer can earn.
Starwood Senior Vice-President, Sales – Asia-Pacific, Alison Taylor, said: “Meeting planners know that Starwood is the easiest hotel company to do business with and the ‘Work Now, Stay Later’ promotion is yet another demonstration of our unique approach. We hope that meeting planners will take this opportunity to earn as many free room nights as they can so that they have the chance to enhance their understanding and product knowledge of our hotels and destinations. But more importantly we want to give them the chance to experience the trademark Starwood hospitality across all our nine brands worldwide.”
