The Gateway Hotels & Resorts, part of the Taj Group, announced the launch of The Gateway Hotel IT Expressway Chennai. This marked the debut of The Gateway Hotel brand in Chennai. This is also the first hotel to be launched in a metro city after the brand was unveiled in 2008. Catering to the upscale segment, The Gateway Hotels & Resorts has 23 hotels in its portfolio.
