Including the new flights to Lucknow, Tigerair will operate 44 services to India weekly.
Lee Lik Hsin, CEO, Tigerair said, “Tigerair is constantly looking to serve new destinations that will increase connectivity and travel options for our customers. Lucknow will appeal to travellers looking for a cultural adventure off the beaten path. In addition to being a historically rich destination in itself, Lucknow is also a gateway to both religious and world renowned landmarks in Uttar Pradesh and nearby states. We hope that this new service will also bring more visitors from Uttar Pradesh to Singapore, and explore South East Asia and Australia from here.”
Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, ranks among the fastest growing cities in India and is a hub for commerce and culture. Also known as the Golden City of the East, Lucknow carries a reputation for its elaborate cuisine, dance, poetry, music and fine embroidery. Its cityscape is characterised by British Raj-era buildings, grand monuments, sprawling parks and mausoleums making it an exciting destination for travellers to experience gracious living.
