Treebo, a Bangalore-based tech enabled chain of reliable hotels is expanding its operations across Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur. It offers budget accommodation with quality services to travelers through online booking. Earlier this year, the group raised $6 million financing from Matrix Partners India and SAIF Partners, and will be utilising it for its nationwide expansion.
Treebo partners with small, standalone hotels and helps them improve their service quality standards and also market themselves more effectively. The core pillars of the company are technology innovations, on-the-ground process discipline, and new-age marketing. In first two months since inception, Treebo has already achieved an occupancy of 75 per cent while also delivering on it quality promise. By the end of the year Treebo intends to spread out across 12 cities with inventory of 2000 rooms.
Commenting on this launch, Rahul Chaudhary, Co-founder of Treebo said, “By expanding our network in Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur, we aim to bring the benefits of high quality, affordable accommodation to the travellers in these cities. Each of these cities is an important travel destination having 1000 or more hotels singularly. Therefore, they were natural candidates for expansion for us. With this launch Treebo is now present in 4 of the country’s 6 largest travel destinations.”
