VietJet officially welcomes passengers on direct flights connecting Melbourne with Hanoi. With Vietnam acting as a hub for Southeast Asia, the recently inaugurated route will help VietJet facilitate the movement of international travellers, boosting tourism & trade between the two continents. This route is Vietjet’s sixth route connecting Vietnam and Australia, with two round trips every Tuesday and Saturday. The airline currently operates 58 weekly flights connecting Australia and Vietnam.
Sharing about the development, Vietjet’s Vice President, Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh mentions, “Since Vietjet’s first flight to Australia in April 2023, we have continuously expanded our network connecting the five largest cities in Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide with Ho Chi Minh City. The Melbourne – Hanoi route launched further proves our commitment to development by continuing to expand our network and providing quality services between Australia and Vietnam, meeting the demand of locals and tourists.”
