Vishwas Makhija, current President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), stepped down from his post citing health reasons.
Makhija along with his team took over the helm of ATOAI in January 2021 and contributed significantly to forward ATOAI’s agenda over the past year. His resignation was regretfully accepted by the ATOAI Executive Committee, who also wished him well in his recovery.
Vaibhav Kala, currently serving as Vice President of ATOAI will assume charge as the Officiating President of ATOAI till the next AGM later this year. The rest of the Office bearers will continue in their present roles. Makhija will continue as a member of the Executive Committee, in an advisory capacity.
