In an endeavor to promote its online specialist programme, as well as reward the travel fraternity, Visit Florida has launched a unique contest titled ‘The Sunshine Contest’. Open to participation from all over India, this initiative will give two lucky winners a chance to be part of the Visit Florida FAM trip to Fort Lauderdale, Tampa Bay and Orlando from 14 to 23 January, 2015.
Having started on 1 November 2014, the Tourism Board has been inviting and encouraging maximum entries from agents and operators. In order to enter the contest, participants need to Like the Visit Florida India facebook page; Complete the Visit Florida Specialist Program and Orlando Training Program within the contest period; Design a creative 10 day itinerary in Florida on a power point presentation listing name, company’s name, designation, age, target segment, itinerary and why your itinerary is unique by the end of November.
Speaking on the occasion, Paul Phipps, Chief Marketing Officer, Visit Florida said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of The Sunshine contest. With this activity, our objective is to create significant engagement within the industry and reward agents. Also, by doing so we wish to simultaneously highlight certain products within the Indian market. The contest will further help raise awareness for the Visit Florida Specialist Program and the Orlando Training Program. We are looking forward to receiving creative itineraries designed by the trade.”
