In the 11th edition of readers’ choice, Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards, Rajasthan has been voted as the ‘Best State’ in the domestic destination category. On behalf of the Department of Rajasthan Tourism, Daleep Singh, Deputy Director (Marketing & Social Media), received the award on Wednesday at a glittering function held at the hotel ITC Maurya in New Delhi.
Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Director of Tourism, Rajasthan, commented “This is an important award, and this makes us feel proud. Through targeted actions and a comprehensive strategy, the Department of Tourism continues to establish Rajasthan as a famous tourist destination”.
She added that awards like these boost our determination to achieve new heights and bring Rajasthan tourism to the top of the global map.
