Rajasthan Tourism has been conferred with the “Best Emerging Destination—Most Scenic Road Award 2022” for route Udaipur to Jodhpur at the Tourism & Survey Award 2022. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary – Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan, received the award from Arjun Ram Meghawal, Union Minister for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs. RTDC’s Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, was also present on this occasion.
Dharmendra Rathore said, “The decision to grant industry status to the tourism sector has already begun to yield significant results. The state tourism policy has benefited all the sections involved in the tourism industry in Rajasthan, and they are all working together to promote tourism.”
Upon receiving the award, Gayatri Rathore said, “Rajasthan has immense potential for tourism, as evidenced by its receipt of the Tourism & Survey Award-22. The Department of Tourism is constantly engaged in identifying new emerging destinations to promote tourism in the state. Rajasthan is in the heart of domestic and foreign tourists, as evidenced by the “Most Scenic Award for the Udaipur to Jodhpur Road.”
