The new direct flights will connect Sharjah and Athens with a frequency of four non-stop weekly flights
Air Arabia marked the inauguration of its first flight on June 28, connecting Sharjah International Airport and Athens International Airport with four non-stop weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
An inaugural ceremony was held on departure at Sharjah International Airport followed by a welcome ceremony on arrival at Athens International Airport, attended by Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, Antonis Alexandridis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the UAE, in addition to senior management and guests.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, commented, “Athens is the latest addition to our expanding EU network from Sharjah, joining Milan and Krakow. This new route provides our customers in the UAE and beyond with more opportunities to explore Greece with our renowned value-driven service.
